I’m an avid cookbook reader and collector. Some people may use a cookbook like a reference book, but not me. I like to curl up with a new cookbook (or an old favorite), a cup of tea and read it page by page from start to finish. I especially love the ones that have lots of gorgeous photos of the yummy food! If you have someone like me on your gift list this year, check out my list of suggestions. (You might want to check out our Gifts for Cooks post also!) Plus, be sure to enter the giveaway at the bottom of this post for your chance to win a copy of Magnolia Table: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering from Joanna Gaines.
Don’t forget to shop through Ebates so you earn cash back when you make a purchase. You can save so much on your holiday shopping when you use Ebates. I’ve already gotten a check for $52 so far this year!
For the Busy Mom
If there is one ‘celebrity cook’ that identify with most, it’s definitely Ree Drummond from The Pioneer Woman. Her recipes are the down-to-Earth real life meals that I want to cook, and actually can get on the table quickly! This is the only one of her cookbooks I don’t yet have. (HINT, HINT Mr. Juggling Act!)
For the Sweets Lover
This cookbook is also by a fellow blogger, my pal Dorothy from Crazy for Crust. This book is filled with loads of fun sweets like Cheesecake Cookie Dough Truffles which I have personally made many times and adore!
For the Sandwich Lover
Blogger Tanya Schroeder from Lemons for LuLu has a no nonsense approach to cooking that I love. These sandwiches are creative, without using hard-to-find or odd ingredients. The Chicken Parmesan Sliders are my favorite recipe.
For the Baker
For the baker on your gift list, look no further than this cookbook filled with beautiful vintage recipes full of Southern charm!
For the Mac and Cheese Lover
Known for their Mac and Cheese, this cookbook from the famous restaurant Homeroom is filled with 50 amazing recipes. There are dozens of variations on the classic Mac and Cheese, plus lots of other recipes, too.
For the Breakfast Lover
With recipes like Breakfast Ravioli and Bacon Fried Rice, this cookbook is filled with loads of recipes guaranteed to fill your belly any time of day.
For the Slow Cooker Lover
For the person who loves their slow cooker, this cookbook with 1400 recipe is perfect – it’s like the Bible of slow cooking. The book includes things you wouldn’t expect, too, like dessert and even bread!
For the Grilling Guru
From barbecues sauces to perfect Texas Brisket, this cookbook has all the recipes your grill master craves. It also includes tips on marinating, bringing, dry rubs and more. Mr. Juggling Act is a fan of the Last Meal Ribs recipe!
For the Food Network Fan
If you have ever watched Food Network you know Bobby Flay has a culinary empire that includes cooking shows, restaurants, and this cookbook. My favorite? Apple Cheddar and Turkey Bacon Cornmeal Waffle Sandwiches – except that I use regular bacon and serve them with maple syrup for dipping.
For the Chicken Lover
This one is also written by a blogging friend of mine and has so many amazing recipes! Not only i s is great for those that like to cook chicken, but it also would be amazing for busy moms. I absolutely adore the Ravioli Skillet Lasagna recipe!
