Forget the filet mignon! When you want a really amazing steak to wow guests, you need to try petite sirloin steak. It's more affordable than a filet and it's perfect for company.
You can use your favorite marinade and cook it on the grill or sear it in a pan with Cowboy Butter. Either way, you're going to love it.
Today, I'm going to share with you how I make grilled petite sirloin steak with our tasty Cowboy Steak Rub, which is especially good on beef. This blend has a sweet and smoky heat that's really delicious.
There's a little kick from the chili powder and cayenne pepper and the smokiness comes from cumin, coriander, and paprika. What you might not expect is that this spice rub also includes brown sugar and coffee. It definitely packs a punch!
