Ingredients to make Benihana Garlic Butter Recipe.

Ingredients

Here are the simple ingredients you’ll need to make the infamous Benihana garlic butter at home!

  • Roasted Garlic: This is the most essential ingredient, and your butter won’t taste the same without it. Raw garlic has a very different flavor. Tip: Start with the garlic paste at room temperature so it does not melt the butter.
  • Soy Sauce: I like to use low-sodium soy sauce.
  • Black Pepper: Freshly cracked black pepper adds a much more intense aroma and flavor to the butter. If you’re using dried pepper, taste the mixture and adjust as needed.
  • Lemon Juice: Fresh lemon juice is always best when
  • Unsalted Butter: Salted butter will also work, but I find that using unsalted allows me to control the flavor a little bit better. You can always add a pinch of salt if you need it.
