Cooking time may vary due to the thickness of your pork chop and different air fryer models. I use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The National Pork Board recommends cooking pork chops, pork tenderloin, and pork loin to an internal temperature of 145F.

Storage

To Store: Leftover pork chops should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They’ll keep for 3-4 days. (These are my favorite airtight containers.)

To Reheat: Pop the pork chops back into the air fryer to warm through. This will keep the breading crispy. Start with 3-4 minutes and then check it so it doesn’t overcook and dry out.

Variations

The first time you try any new recipe we recommend that you make it just as it is written on the recipe card since that is how our pork chop recipe has been tested. However, the next time you make our recipe, you might want to try one of these ideas:

Instead of the seasonings listed in the recipe card, try using Mediterranean seasoning, ranch seasoning, or even our best pork rub mixture. This is a great way to change up the flavors of an easy meal.

You can use plain or seasoned breadcrumbs instead of panko bread crumbs if you prefer.

If you love the flavor of Parmesan cheese, add 1/4 cup to the breadcrumb mixture before dredging the chops. (This is especially good if you pair it with a little bit of Italian seasoning.)
