If you love grilled pork chops, then buckle up because this recipe is perfect for strawberry or peach season.
It starts with Strawberry Peach BBQ Sauce, which is just incredible with pork chops. After they're slathered and grilled, top the chops with incredible Strawberry Peach Salsa and you get more of the same flavors but in a brighter, fresher way. So yummy!

Ingredients
- Bone-In or Boneless Pork Chops
- Lime
- strawberry peach BBQ sauce (or similar from the grocery store)
- strawberry peach salsa, for serving

Fresh ingredients make all the difference in this tasty dish, so be sure to look for the best strawberries and peaches you can find, and don't scrimp on the fresh herbs. (A quick note about cilantro... if you're not a fan, you can use parsley instead).
Instructions
- Preheat the grill over medium-high heat.
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Grill the pork chops over medium-high for a couple of minutes on each side - for beautiful grill marks, don't move them around.
- Baste the chops with the Strawberry Peach BBQ Sauce and cook for another couple of minutes so that the sauce caramelizes a little.
- Remove from the grill and serve with the Strawberry Peach Salsa and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.

Doesn't it look divine? It's just so colorful and the aroma is heavenly, too! This is certainly a dish that will impress guests, but it's great for a romantic dinner for two as well, and leftovers make a tasty taco the next day for lunch.

Recipe Variations
- In the Fall, omit the strawberries and use apples instead, with lemon instead of lime. (Garnish with parley, not cilantro).
- Serve with vegetable kabobs brushed with the Strawberry Peach BBQ sauce.
- Save time by serving with a store-bought BBQ sauce. Experiment by adding grilled and pureed pineapple to the sauce for a hint of sweetness.

More About Making this Recipe
It's not very often that Mr. Juggling Act and I have the opportunity to spend time alone together. Between work and the kids, we are always busy with something. Sometimes the best we can do is make ourselves a pseudo date night at home after the kids go to bed. This meal is fancy enough for a gourmet restaurant, but easy enough to make at home. On a warm summer evening, it's so nice to relax and enjoy a delicious meal and a glass of wine with my husband.
We've been trying to find more ways to spend more time with one another, so even though developing recipes is "work" for me, Mr. Juggling Act has been joining me more in the kitchen or by the grill. It doesn't feel like work, and it is a way for us to get more quality time together.
This Grilled BBQ Pork Chops recipe, along with the Strawberry Peach Salsa, was a huge hit with my husband. The salsa adds a nice freshness to the dish, to balance out the spice from the homemade Strawberry Peach Barbecue Sauce. There's nothing quite like the layers of flavor built into that BBQ sauce! The grilled peaches are divine!
