One of my favorite things about the holidays is making my own gifts. I love spending time crafting something special for my family and friends. Homemade gifts don’t have to be elaborate. In fact, food gifts are often the easiest to make. I’ve been making this Italian herb blend for my spice cabinet for a while now and decided to make another batch to give away this holiday season.

This mixture has all the classic flavors you’d expect in an Italian seasoning blend: basil, oregano, and, of course, garlic, along with a few lesser-known ingredients such as marjoram.

The combination is perfect for a variety of pasta dishes, such as leftover spaghetti bake or casseroles, and is also delicious on chicken. It’s also great for meatballs, breadsticks, and a variety of other dishes.
