✔️ If the leftover spaghetti noodles seem a little bit dry, add some additional marinara sauce.
🍲 Storage
To Store: Leftover Leftover Spaghetti Bake should be stored in the fridge in an airtight container. (These are my favorite airtight containers.)
To Reheat: Microwave individual portions in 30-second intervals until heated throughout.
To Freeze: Cover the casserole with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and then slide the whole casserole into a 2-gallon freezer bag. Be sure to label.
To Thaw: Allow the casserole to thaw overnight in the fridge.

📖 Variations
The first time you try any new recipe we recommend that you make it just as it is written on the recipe card since that is how the pasta recipe has been tested. However, the next time you make our recipe, you might want to try one of these ideas:
- Add 1-2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning or spaghetti seasoning to the spaghetti mixture before baking.
- For extra creamy baked spaghetti, add ½ cup of cottage cheese, cream cheese, or ricotta cheese to the milk and egg mixture before adding the leftover spaghetti.
- Other cheeses that would work in this recipe are shredded gouda, gruyère, and fontina.
- To add some nutrition to this dish you can add some veggies into the pasta and spaghetti sauce mixture. One finely diced bell pepper or 1 cup of chopped baby spinach are both great additions.

🍴 Serving Suggestions
A green side salad is the perfect way to add some veggies to this hearty meal. When I have the time, I also serve garlic bread, Italian breadsticks, or rosemary focaccia.
You can also take it up a notch by serving it with meat sauce or this cheesy meatball casserole. (I love that this casserole can be made with homemade ground beef and pork meatballs, homemade chicken meatballs, or store-bought meatballs.)
Use leftover meatballs or frozen meatballs to make a batch of meatball cupcakes as a side dish.
