When it comes to apple recipes, I have no shortage of them! However, this apple salsa is just one of those great recipes you will make repeatedly! Honestly, this might be the best salsa recipe I’ve ever made.
From the crunch of the homemade cinnamon chips to the fresh tart from the apples in the salsa, you’ll have a hard time resisting the urge to dunk another chip. This recipe is great for parties or as a fun fall seasonal treat.

🔪 Instructions
For the salsa:
- Mix together granny smith apples, pears, orange zest, and orange juice in a small bowl.
- Stir in the brown sugar and jelly (or jam).
- Cover the mixture and put in the fridge until ready to serve.

For the chips:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Prepare two large-rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon until blended.
- Brush each tortilla with water, and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Cut the tortillas into wedges to make tortilla chips, and place the wedges in a single layer on the baking sheets.
- Bake for 6-8 minutes or until brown and crispy.
- Allow them to cool on the baking sheets before serving.

To Store: Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge. It will only keep a day or so. (These are my favorite airtight containers.)

You can also make this without cinnamon sugar and add red onion, jalapeño pepper or bell peppers, and fresh cilantro instead. Savory apple salsa is delicious with pork chops or pork tenderloin.
Instead of an orange, you can use fresh lime juice and zest or lemon juice and zest.
