If you want a quick and easy way to start your day, this lemon smoothie recipe is perfect! In just a few easy steps and a few ingredients, you can whip up this super easy snack or drink recipe whenever you need it!

This cool and refreshing drink uses fresh lemons and frozen peaches to make a truly fruity smoothie that is out of this world good! This is perfect for picky eaters who don’t want to eat raw fruits, but still need a bit of vitamin C.

You only need a few simple ingredients to make this delicious smoothie!

  • lemon – it’s important to use fresh lemon juice
  • water
  • honey
  • ginger root 
  • peaches
  • ground turmeric

Storage

Leftover lemon smoothie can be poured into ice cube trays. Free and then store the lemon smoothie cubes in a freezer bag for 1-2 weeks.

You can also make really yummy lemon ice pops like we did with our orange mango pops and healthy smoothie pops. It’s a great way to get more fruit and hydration into your kiddos on a hot day.

📖 Variations

The first time you try any new recipe we recommend that you make it just as it is written on the recipe card since that is how the lemon smoothie recipe has been tested. However, the next time you make our recipe, you might want to try one of these ideas:

  • For a vegan lemon smoothie, use maple syrup instead of honey.
  • Add a scoop of your favorite protein powder.
  • I love the texture the frozen fruit gives to this smoothie, but you can also use fresh fruit if you prefer.
  • For an even more zingy flavor, add 1 teaspoon of lemon zest.

For a different flavor profile, change up the frozen fruit:

  • strawberry lemonade smoothie, use frozen strawberries
  • blueberry lemon smoothie, use frozen blueberries (this is one of my favorite flavor combinations!)
