Summer time and frozen snacks make me think of my childhood, running barefoot through the enormous yard of my grandparent's home in Maine. Grammy handed out ice pops and all the cousins sat on the back steps licking our pops and giggling. Even my stoic Lithuanian grandfather had one now and then. My favorite is when the ice pops are almost melted... I'm not sure why, but I love that texture.
I'm recreating that summertime fun this year! These Strawberry Lemon-Lime Summer Coolers are a nod to my childhood summers. Along with frozen strawberries, lemonade and fresh lime juice, I'm using Frozen Lemon-Lime Fruit Bars. The sweet and tart slush is just perfect for a refreshing summer snack.

- In a blender, combine the frozen strawberries with the lemonade and fresh lime juice.
- Blend until smooth, serve with an Lemon-Lime Frozen Fruit Bar and a lime wheel.
I love to serve these in mason jars with reusable plastic straws. There's something about mason jars that definitely adds to the nostalgic nature of these fun drinks. The fruit and lemonade slush is delicious and pairs so well with the Lime Frozen Fruit Bars.

- Combine frozen mangos with pineapple juice and serve with Creamy Coconut Frozen Fruit Bars (omit lime juice).
