Homemade cotton candy ice cream starts with heavy cream, sometimes also called heavy whipping cream. I adore homemade whipped cream and this easy recipe starts with beating the cream just like that.
Honestly, I don't think there is an easier homemade ice cream recipe out there!

Here are the simple ingredients you'll need to make your new favorite ice cream:
- heavy cream
- sweetened condensed milk
- vanilla extract
- cotton candy artificial flavor
- blue and red food coloring

🔪 Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and cotton candy flavoring. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the heavy cream with a stand mixer or hand mixer until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the sweetened condensed milk mixture.
- Divide the ice cream base into two bowls.
- Color one ice cream mixture with red food coloring and the other with blue food coloring.
- Scoop the whipped mixture into a loaf pan, alternating as you go. Cover with plastic wrap.
- Freeze for 3-4 hours until firm.
Note: If you prefer to make just pink or just blue cotton candy ice cream, you can do that, too.
