I adore crunchy tacos. I mean, what's not to love, right? These are like little taco cupcakes and they taste amazing!
Taco Wontons are a great way to use leftover taco-seasoned beef. Grab all your favorite taco toppings and get ready for these delicious crunchy taco cups.
Personally, I usually double this taco wonton recipe because my family gobbles up these all up when I make them for Taco Tuesday.
🧂 Ingredients
- lean ground beef
- taco seasoning
- wonton wrappers - look for these in the refrigerated section at your grocery store
- sour cream
- shredded cheese - I like to use cheddar cheese
- tomato
- green onion
- optional additional toppings: jalapeno, refried beans, black olives, red onions, black beans, etc.

🔪 Instructions
- Cook the ground beef in a large skillet. Drain grease.
- Season the ground beef and mix to combine.
- Grease the muffin tin and add wonton wrappers to each well to create a bowl with the wonton.
- Fill the wonton cup about half full with the taco meat.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350F.
- Remove from the oven and add your desired toppings like cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, onions, etc.

🍲 Storage
To Store: While Taco Wonton Cups are best enjoyed right away, they can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days. (These are my favorite airtight containers.)
To Reheat: Microwave individual portions in 30-second intervals until heated throughout.

- 2 tablespoon store-bought or homemade taco seasoning
- 12 wonton wrappers
- ⅓ cup sour cream
- ⅓ cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 roma tomato diced
- 1 green onion sliced thinly

- In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain grease.½ lb ground beef
