How to Cook Chicken Tenders in Air Fryer

- Preheat you air fryer to 370 degrees F
- Add bread crumbs and seasonings to shallow bowl or plate and combine
- Beat eggs and put in a shallow bowl
- Place flour in a shallow bowl
- Dip a chicken tender in flour, eggs, and then in breadcrumbs mixture. Be sure to coat evenly.
- Set aside on plate or tray
- Repeat with 3-4 more tenders
- Cook chicken for 8-10 minutes, depending on size
- While chicken is cooking, prepare more chicken with coating
- Repeat cooking in batches until all chicken is cooked
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce

- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 2 large eggs beaten
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup Panko crumbs **see notes
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
For Serving
- Ketchup
- Honey Mustard
- Ranch Dressing
- Your favorite dip sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 370 degrees F
- Clean and trim any remaining fat from the chicken if necessary
- Add bread crumbs and seasonings to shallow bowl and combine well
- Add beaten eggs to their own shallow bowl
- Add flour to a shallow bowl
- Dip a chicken tender in flour, then in eggs, and then in breadcrumbs mixture. Be sure to coat evenly.
- Set the tender aside on plate or tray
- Repeat with 3-4 more tenders.
- Cook chicken for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F
- While your first batch of chicken is cooking, prepare more chicken tenders with the coating
- Repeat cooking in batches until all chicken is cooked
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce
Notes
- Breadcrumbs: You can use all Panko, all breadcrumbs, a combination or even use crackers crumbs
- It’s best to cook the chicken tenders in batches. You don’t want to over-crowd your air fryer.
