This sweet side dish recipe requires only a few simple ingredients, which many of you probably already have at home, and a few steps to put together this deliciously sweet side dish!
Ingredients
- sweet potatoes
- extra-virgin olive oil
- pure maple syrup
- ground cinnamon, salt, black pepper
Instructions
Here's how to roast sweet potatoes in the oven with maple syrup and cinnamon:
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and lightly spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
- Dice your sweet potatoes into 1-inch cubes, then place them in a large bowl.
- Add the olive oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt, and pepper, and toss to coat evenly.
- Spread the sweet potato cubes onto the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping the sweet potatoes with a spatula halfway through.
