What could be more summery than a tasty Watermelon Mojito cocktail?
This post has been sponsored in part by Torani, however, all opinions, as always are my own. #ad #ToraniFlavor
When I think of backyard summer parties, I think of watermelon. Eating watermelon is good for you! Sure it's a fruit so it's healthy, but it can actually help lower blood pressure. It also contains vitamins A, B6, C magnesium and potassium. Plus, it's great for helping you stay hydrated in hot weather. I guess it's only natural that when I was planning a little get together, I began thinking of watermelon cocktails. While this watermelon mojito isn't exactly a health drink, you can feel good about it since you're adding the fresh fruit to the drink! This Watermelon Mojito Recipe is so yummy that it made our top recipes of 2018 list!
Sometimes you have to count the little things, right?
Seriously though, a watermelon mojito is a really yummy cocktail that is simple to make and all your guests will enjoy. So let's get started!
What kind of soda is in a mojito?
Club soda or seltzer water is best for making a mojito. If you don't have either of those on hand, you could also try a lemon-lime soda.
What type of alcohol is in a mojito?
Any white rum will work for a mojito. After you have made this once, you can try experimenting with different flavors. A citrus flavored rum would work well in this watermelon mojito.

I used Torani Watermelon Syrup to boost the watermelon flavor, and add a little sweetness to the cocktail. It's really simple to make delicious coctails using Torani syrups.
I love using a motar and pestle for mashing the mint leaves. It works awesome for small batches of guacamole, too!

I would probably use these in my coffee, as well as testing out a ton of different recipes for cookies and cakes. A lot of these flavors I've never tried before. I used Torani's Bourbon Caramel syrup to make Kentucky Derby Brownies last year and they were AMAZING! It was a fun way to give them that bourbon taste without using actual alcohol.
