🍲 Storage

To Store: Leftover Ravioli Lasagna should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge. It will last 3-4 days. (These are my favorite airtight containers.)

To Reheat: Microwave individual portions in 30 second intervals until heated throughout.

To Freeze: Assemble the casserole but don’t bake it. Wrap it in aluminum foil, then slide it into a 2-gallon freezer bag. Label and store for 1-2 months.

To Thaw: Remove from the freezer and thaw overnight in the fridge. It will take a little longer to bake from the fridge.

✏️ Make Ahead

This lazy lasagna can be assembled a day in advance and stored in the fridge until ready to bake.

📖 Variations

The first time you try any new recipe we recommend that you make it just as it is written on the recipe card since that is how the pasta recipe has been tested. However, the next time you make our recipe, you might want to try one of these ideas:

If you prefer, you can use fresh ravioli instead of frozen. You may not need to bake the dish as long as the pasta isn’t frozen.

You can also use other varieties of stuffed pasta instead of cheese ravioli. Spinach ravioli is delicious in this dish, and I’ve even used cheese tortellini in a pinch.

Instead of tomato sauce, add cooked ground beef, shredded beef, or even slow cooker chicken marinara to make a thick and hearty meat sauce. You could also use cooked Italian sausage or ground pork.
