Keep Calm & Garden On DIY Gifts for Gardeners from Shaken Together are a quick and easy thoughtful gift for the gardeners in your life!

Now that Spring has sprung and folks are spending more time outside, doing yard work and in the garden, these "Keep Calm & Garden On" DIY Gifts for Gardeners are perfect!

Aren't these so cute? All of the contents help relieve some of those pesky things in the garden: the bright Spring and Summer sun, heat and humidity and of course, bugs! Aside from gardening tools, these are pretty much essential for enjoying time outside in the garden.
Since this is a gift, a cute little gift tag is a necessity! So, I punched holes in the seed pot, stamped "Keep Calm & Garden On" on a kraft paper tag, added a colorful paper flower and tied them on the pot with bright green twine. Something like a hand stamped gift tag and a few little embellishments make all the difference in turning a boring seed pot into a super cute little gift!
Here is what I tucked inside each seed pot:

Materials
- Insect repellent wipes
- Sunscreen stick
- Peppermint & Lavender Cooling Spray (see below for the DIY)
- Lip Balm with sunscreen
- Insect bite relief stick
How to make the Peppermint & Lavender Cooling Spray
Fill a 2 oz. spray bottle almost to the top with distilled water. Add 1-2 drops of both lavender and peppermint essential oils. Shake and spritz!
DIY Gifts for Gardeners
Assemble the items in a peat pot like we did here, or pick up a set of gardening tools and tuck these little extras inside.

If you really want to treat the gardener in your life, tuck a gift card to a home improvement store inside your DIY gifts for gardeners so they can pick up a few more garden goodies! This makes such a great Mother's Day or Teacher Appreciation gift, too.

A Note from the Author
Hey there Juggling Act Mama readers - it's Keri from Shaken Together! Are you starting to see Spring in your neck of the woods? Spring always reminds me of gardens and one of my favorite memories as a kid was hanging out with my grandma in her garden.
I would hold a big enamel bowl while she snapped off string beans, dug up potatoes, plucked ripe tomatoes and tied pie pans on poles to keep the deer and rabbits away. Then, we would sit on her porch swing and snap beans for that night's dinner.

What a fun idea. My mom loves to garden and I don't think I would have ever thought to get her those things for gardening! Definitely makes sense though.

This is a great idea for gardeners. My stepmom is a Master Gardener and I swear I've given her every gardening gift out there, but I never thought about a gardening survival kit!
