Check out this tasty Fuzzy Navel recipe - it's fruity, summery fun in a glass!

Hi again! It's Melissa from Persnickety Plates. This month when I was deciding what to post over here on JAM, I thought it might be fun to do a drink. Mother's Day is coming right up and I think these Fuzzy Navels would be perfect to serve at brunch. It might be a nice change from the typical mimosa. This is one of my favorite summertime cocktails.
My parents don't drink. At all. But, if you ask my mom her favorite drink, she'll tell you a Fuzzy Navel. I remember hearing that growing up, though I don't think I've ever seen her drink one. There are a few different ways to make a Fuzzy Navel.
Some people just use peach schnapps and orange juice. Others throw in a shot of vodka to take it up a notch (possible called a Pierced Fuzzy Navel). I added vodka to this version because it's been quite the week and I needed a drink! I also threw in a shot of lemonade because it seemed like a good idea but my bartender brother says it's not. What do I know.

They seem so summery to me, I think I'll make a pitcher full for our next BBQ. They're not too strong but they have a nice little kick to them.

When we were little, my parents had a party with fuzzy navels. My brother was just young enough to get in the fridge and pour himself some juice. So, the next morning he came into my parents' room so proud he had just got himself a glass of "big boy" juice. Every time I see something about fuzzy navels I think of that. Too funny!

How would I convert this fuzzy navel recipe to a pitcher recipe? Thanks!

Hi Jenae,
Just double/triple, whatever the amounts. So say you want to serve 8, try 3 cups of OJ, 1 cup of peach schnapps, 1 cup of vodka and mix with lots of ice. Hope that helps!
