Even if you have no talent for doodling (I know I don’t), stencils and templates make it super simple to create a cute gift or piece of decor for your home. So stock up on some metallic, paint and regular old Sharpies, and get to work creating something beautiful!

Sharpie Craft Projects Ideas and Tutorials

Here are some of our favorite Sharpie craft project ideas that are fun and easy to make!

Sharpie Mustache Mugs by One Little Project

I “mustache” you a question… Don’t you think these Sharpie Mustache Mugs will make great gifts for Father’s Day? They’d work as groomsmen’s gifts as well.

These DIY Marble Coasters make cute gifts, but they’re pretty practical to keep around the house, too. No one wants water rings on their furniture, right?

I can’t believe that this Deer Canvas Art was done with metallic sharpies. It’s gorgeous!

We love Sharpie craft projects around here, so for a Mother’s Day gift for my mom last year, the kids and I made these DIY Marble Coasters.

This Sharpie School Board is a brilliant idea. She used sharpies to lay out the permanent features like the calendar grid and the notes section and uses dry erase markers to change the month and notes.

This Milk Jug Dragonfly Craft uses the same marbling technique that we used on our coasters — sharpies and rubbing alcohol. These are so gorgeous I’d turn them into magnets or hairbows and keep them around for a while.

These Mondrian Inspired Jar Luminaries look like stained glass!

Have you tried the Sharpie paint markers? They’re great for projects like this DIY Dino Night-light.

Most of us have a bowl or tray that we use when we take off jewelry at the end of the day. Why not make a cute Monogram Trinket Tray with a white plate and metallic Sharpie?

sharpie dot flower pots by Cutesy Crafts

Spring into gardening with some lovely Sharpie Dot Flower Pots for your potted plants.

Give a personalized gift to your favorite mama-to-be. Sharpie Doodled Onesies are an adorable option. We tried this idea at my baby shower, and it was a lot of fun for the kids (and adults) to decorate onesies for our little guy.

Doodle on some shoelaces to make a boring pair of white shoes a little more colorful. Use school colors for your Sharpie Shoelaces to show off your team spirit!

Decorate your own Sharpie Art Journal or give one as a gift. I know I’d personally love something like this from a friend — it’s so personal and thoughtful.

DIY Tea Towels are a lovely household shower or Mother’s Day gift.
