Chocolate Confetti Cake Mix Cookies are a delicious after school snack or festive treat for holidays! These are a quick and easy last minute cookie to make for bake sales and parties, too! #SemiHomemade
These chocolate confetti cake mix cookies are simple and fun easy recipes you can make with your kids. They’re fantastic for bake sales, after school treats, and of course dessert. Starting with a box mix means you have more time to spend with your children. I love semi homemade recipes for this reason. Cooking with my children is very fun and I enjoy it immensely. However, they can be a distraction in the kitchen as well. I tend to stay away from complicated recipes when they want to help.
Chocolate Confetti Cake Mix Cookies
Here’s how to make these super simple, but delicious, Chocolate Confetti Cake Mix Cookies!
chocolate cake mix
½ cup butter (room temperature)
¼ cup oil
3 tablespoons confetti cake sprinkles
Preheat oven to 350-degrees F.
In a bowl, combine the eggs, oil and butter with the cake mix and mix well.
Using a small scoop, scoop out the dough onto a parchment lined baking tray.
Wet your finger tips slightly and press down slightly to flatten the cookie. (The water will help keep the dough from sticking to your fingers).
Sprinkle the confetti candy on the tops of the cookies.
Bake for approximately 8 – 10 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
Remove after baking and let sit on the pan for a couple of minutes to cool. Enjoy!
These cookies are awesome for parties and holidays, too! Just swap out the confetti sprinkles for festive themed sprinkles you can find at your local grocery store or online.
