Blueberry Lemonade Pink Recipe

My blueberry lemonade recipe is the perfect blend of sweet blueberries and tart lemons. It is so refreshing, and a beautiful color, too!

Ingredients

Blueberry Syrup

  • 1/2 cup fine granulated sugar
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup water

Blueberry Lemonade

  • 3/4 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 5 cups water

Instructions

Easy Blueberry Syrup

  • Combine the sugar and 1 cup water in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
    1/2 cup fine granulated sugar, 1 cup water
  • Stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Mix in the blueberries and bring to a boil.
    1 cup blueberries
  • Reduce the heat and simmer until the blueberries start to break down - about 3 minutes.
  • Strain the blueberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth and let cool.

How to Make Blueberry Lemonade

  • Add the cooled, strained blueberry mixture to a large pitcher.
  • To the pitcher, add 5 cups of water and lemon juice. Refrigerate until chilled.

  • Serve over ice with a lemon slice and blueberries if desired.

Notes

You can make raspberry or strawberry lemonade using this same method.
