Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
Place the chicken in the prepared crockpot.

Melt butter and soften the cream cheese in the microwave. Whisk until smooth.
¼ cup salted butter, 4 ounces cream cheese
Whisk together the cream cheese mixture with the garlic, cream soup, Italian seasoning, and chicken stock.
3 cloves minced garlic, 1½ cups cream of chicken soup OR Cream Soup Substitute, ¾ cup chicken stock, 4 teaspoons Italian seasoning or 1 package store-bought Italian dressing mix such as Good Seasons
Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken.
Set on LOW and cook for 6-8 hours. (Or set to HIGH for 3-4 hours.)
Shred the chicken about 30 minutes before serving.
For angel hair pasta, cook according to package directions and toss with the creamy chicken mixture. This meal is also delicious with mashed potatoes or rice.
