Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chicken wings
  • ½ cup honey
  • cup Teriyaki marinade
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and Pepper
  • scallions for garnish - you could also use chives

Instructions

Marinating the Wings

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, teriyaki marinade, oil, and seasonings. Divide the mixture, reserving half for baking. 
  • Add the chicken to a large resealable container with the other half of the liquid.
  • Refrigerate 2 hours up to overnight. the longer the wings marinate, the better the flavor will be.

Baking the Wings

  • Preheat the oven to 375-degrees. 
  • Remove the wings from the container and discard the sauce.
  • Add the wings and reserved sauce to a glass baking dish. 
  • Bake for 30 minutes, then turn and continue baking until the wings begin to caramelize – about another 15 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with chopped chives or scallions before serving.
