Crockpot Pumpkin Butter

With all the goodness of pumpkin pie, this Pumpkin Butter, made is the slow cooker, is perfect for Fall. The best part is that it is fabulously easy to make. This recipe will make 4 pints or 2 quarts of pumpkin butter.

Ingredients

  • 2 15 oz cans store-bought pumpkin puree or about 2 cups homemade pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup apple cider
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  • Into the slow cooker, combine the pumpkin puree, apple cider, sugars and pumpkin spice.

  • Set the Crockpot to LOW for 4.5 hours or HIGH for 2.5 hours.
  • Use an immersion blender until the pumpkin butter has a silky smooth texture.
  • Use a canning jar funnel to spoon the pumpkin butter into mason jars.
  • Allow the pumpkin butter to cool completely before affixing the lid and refrigerating.
