Preheat the oven to 350F and grease a 2 qt casserole dish
Tear the croissant into pieces and place in the casserole dish
4 large butter croissants
Sprinkle the berries over the croissant pieces
1 ½ cups frozen berries
In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese for 1-2 minutes, until softened
8 oz cream cheese
Add the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk and beat until blended
⅔ cup sugar, 2 eggs, 2 teaspoon vanilla extract, ½ cup milk
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the berries
Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the croissants are golden brown and the center doesn't wiggle
Serve warm
Notes
Optional: Prepare the casserole and refrigerate overnight. Place in a cold oven and set to 350F and bake for 40-45 minutes.Berries: we used ¾ cup each of strawberries and blueberries
