Buttery Dinner Rolls

Light and fluffy dinner rolls with loads of butter along with garlic and herbs are the perfect rolls for any meal!

Ingredients

  • 7 frozen unbaked dinner rolls
  • 4 tablespoons butter divided
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs such as basil, thyme or rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic
  • ½ teaspoon Himalayan OR Kosher salt

Instructions

  • In a small cast iron pan, melt about 2 tablespoons of butter.

  • Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool for about ten minutes.
  • Place the unbaked rolls in the pan and brush with the remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter.

  • Cover and let them rise in a warm place until they're about doubled in size.
  • Using a pastry brush and the extra melted butter in the bottom of the pan, gently brush the tops of the rolls with butter.
  • Sprinkle the rolls generously with the salt, granulated garlic and your favorite dried herbs - I like basil or thyme depending on what I'm serving for dinner.

  • Bake according to the directions on the package until they are golden brown. (Most oven 400-degrees F for 15-20 minutes).
  • Serve hot.
