Peanut Butter Caramel Apple Dip
Simple but delicious dip that is scrumptious with apples, pears, and crackers.
- 1 11 oz bag caramel squares (about 40), unwrapped
- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup peanut butter
Unwrap all the caramels and set aside (great job for the kids to help with as part of the prep!)
Into a medium saucepan over low heat, add the caramels, whipping cream, and peanut butter
Stir frequently until the caramels are all melted into the cream (about 8-10 minutes).
Serve with pear and apple slices or pretzels. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
For a smooth creamy dip, use creamy peanut butter. If you prefer the texture of crunchy peanut butter, you can use that as well.
You can add a pinch of sea salt, if desired for a little extra flavor.
