- 4-5 pounds pork butt
- 5 Fuji and Granny Smith apples cored and sliced
- 2 sweet onions diced
- 1 cup beef or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- fresh herbs such as rosemary or thyme (optional)
- salt and pepper, to taste
Layer the apples, onions, and herbs on the bottom of the slow cooker.
5 Fuji and Granny Smith apples, 2 sweet onions, fresh herbs such as rosemary or thyme (optional)
Pour the broth on top.
1 cup beef or vegetable broth
Add the pork butt and season with garlic powder, salt and black pepper, if desired.
4-5 pounds pork butt, salt and pepper, to taste, 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Cook on low for 6 hours.
Serve over rice or potatoes and ENJOY!
