48 ounces frozen meatballs 1 sweet onion cut into 1-inch pieces 20 ounces pineapple chunks drained 2 cups sweet and sour sauce 1 red bell pepper seeded and cut into 1-inch pieces 1 green bell pepper seeded and cut into 1-inch pieces green onions sliced, for garnish
Prepare a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
In the slow cooker, add the meatballs, onion, pineapple, and sweet and sour sauce.
48 ounces frozen meatballs, 1 sweet onion, 20 ounces pineapple chunks, 2 cups sweet and sour sauce
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours.
About 30 minutes prior to serving, stir in the bell pepper and cook until crisp-tender. Alternatively, you can quickly stir fry them in a skillet over medium-high heat and then add them right right before serving.
1 red bell pepper, 1 green bell pepper
Serve the meatballs over rice, if desired.
Garnish with green onions.
