Hollow out a little bit of the roll to make more room for the meatballs.

Lightly brush the inside of the rolls with melted butter, sprinkle with garlic powder, and set them onto a baking tray. (optional step)

Toast the rolls at 400F for 5 minutes until lightly golden brown.
Place 3-4 meatballs into the sub roll, depending on the size of your bread.

Top with tomato sauce.

Add shredded cheese on top.
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Place the subs under the broiler just until the cheese melts.
Garnish with fresh basil, if desired. Serve immediately with tomato sauce for dipping.
