In a small bowl, beat the egg with water with the Italian seasoning mix. Set aside.
1 egg, 1 teaspoon store-bought or Italian seasoning mix
Roll out the puff pastry dough.
1 package Puff Pastry
Cut the pastry into 6 squares.
Spoon a little bit of tomato sauce onto the puff pastry. Be sure to avoid the edges.
1 cup pizza sauce or tomato sauce
Add cheese, pepperoni, and more cheese.
24 pepperoni slices, 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Gently fold the dough over to make a triangle pocket.
Use the back of a fork to pinch the edges shut tight so that none of the filling leaks out.
Brush the pocket with the egg wash seasoning mixure and sprinkle with a little bit of grated parmesan cheeese on top.
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Repeat with the rest of the puff pastry until you have 6 pockets.
Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350F until golden brown.
Remove and serve with tomato sauce for dipping, if desired.
