Equipment

  • Measuring cups
  • Mixing Spoon
  • Mason Jars
  • Jar funnel (optional)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Epsom salts
  • cups crushed rose petals
  • 30 drops rose essential oil

Instructions

  • Start by crushing the rose petals. I like to grind them fairly small so that they easily slide down the drain when I'm done.
    ⅓ cups crushed rose petals
  • In a small bowl, combine the Epsom salts and crushed rose petals.
    2 cups Epsom salts
  • Add in the remaining ingredients you want to use and mix together.
    30 drops rose essential oil
  • Use the jar funnel to transfer the bath salts into a jar and seal tightly.

Notes

Epsom salt is different from table salt - it is is a magnesium sulfate compound. It can soothe tired muscles and help relieve stress.
You can dry your own rose petals or you can purchase dried roses online.
Rose essential oil may help to relieve stress and tension and may also have positive effects for those who suffer from anxiety and/or depression.
Store your bath salts in a clean, dry area for 3 months. If you choose not to use any oils, you can store it for up to 6 months.
