Tomato Butter

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. 1 stick salted butter, room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic minced
  • Ground black pepper to taste, optional

Instructions

  • In the bowl of your mixer, combine the room temperature butter, minced garlic tomato paste and basil.
  • Whip together on medium until well combined.
  • Using a rubber spatula, transfer the mixture to a ramekin and refrigerate until firm.

⏲️ Storage

Store the butter in an airtight container for up to 10 days, or freeze for up to 6 months. (These are my favorite airtight containers.)
