- 1 ½ cups milk
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup pure maple syrup OR brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 ½ cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup fresh berries
In a bowl beat the milk and eggs until incorporated.

Pour the maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon and whisk to incorporate.

Add the oats and baking powder and continue mixing until everything is well incorporated.

Transfer the mixture to a buttered casserole dish and top with fresh fruit if desired.

Let the batter rest for around 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly flour a baking pan.
Bake for 45 minutes or until done.
Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
