- 2 20oz cans apple pie filling (or homemade if you prefer)
- 1 16.25 oz box yellow cake mix
- ¼ cup light brown sugar packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
Spray crockpot with your favorite non-stick cooking spray.
Add apple pie filling to your crock.
2 20oz cans apple pie filling (or homemade if you prefer)
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
1 16.25 oz box yellow cake mix, ¼ cup light brown sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Sprinkle the cake mix mixture on top of the apple pie filling.
Melt your butter in microwave safe bowl and drizzle it over the cake mix evenly.
½ cup unsalted butter
Cover and cook on high for 2 ½ - 3 hours.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream on the side and a drizzle of caramel sauce if you like.
