    juice of a large lime
  • Add your chopped ingredients to the mixing bowl and toss.
3 cups strawberries, 1 red onion, 1 jalapeño, 4 tablespoons cilantro
  • Add a pinch of sea salt to taste. Less is best to start. Taste as you go along.
    Pinch of sea salt
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving so the flavors marry.
  • Serve with chips and or use to top your favorite grilled meat.

Notes

This is best served fresh. The salt and lime juice will begin to break down your ingredients and make it watery, but it's simple enough to put together that you can have a second batch ready in no time.
