Meatball Slider Recipe

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 7-8 Rolls (depending on the size of your pan)
  • 14-20 Italian meatballs (depending on their size)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350-degrees F.
  • Slice the rolls in half.
  • Place the bottom half of the rolls into a cast-iron skillet or baking pan.
  • Melt the butter in a small dish.
  • Brush each bottom half with the melted butter.
  • Sprinkle granulated garlic and mozzarella cheese over the bottom rolls.
  • Top with halved meatballs.
  • Add provolone cheese to the top of the meatballs.
  • Add the top half of the rolls on top.
  • Brush each top with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the rolls with granulated garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, and the dried parsley and basil.
  • Place the pan into the oven for 10 minutes until the cheeses are melted.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

Use an 8" cast iron skillet or 9x9 baking dish.
