What's more fun than a Movie Night Party + Popcorn Bar?
Enjoy a family night or time with friends with our simple Movie Night Party + Popcorn Bar! It's easy, fast and most of all, yummy!!
In our house, we love air-popped popcorn because we can flavor it exactly as we like. Mr. Juggling Act is the popcorn guru around here and makes a deliciously butter version with salt and just a teeny bit of sugar. It's delicious!
Movie Night Party + Popcorn Bar
Here's what you'll need to set up your popcorn bar:
- For traditional popcorn lovers: Butter and Salted Popcorn
- For sweet-tooth popcorn lovers: Chocolate Drizzled Popcorn
- Popcorn boxes or other containers your guests can fill
- Candies and assorted mix-ins like chocolate chips and nuts
- Napkins, serving spoons and glassine bags for favors
I also made a "birthday cake" popcorn (pictured above) using birthday cake flavored candy melts and sprinkles. This is a really fun one if you're doing a birthday sleepover with movies! You can customize your popcorn any way you like.
Here are some tips for making your Popcorn Bar really awesome:
Pop at least 3 cups of popcorn for each guest, please a little extra if you're going to make goodie bags to send home. Be sure to check with your guests beforehand for any allergies to dairy, nuts, etc. Provide plenty of beverages, because we all know popcorn makes people thirsty! (Plus, cute straws can help you pull your theme together.) Set up your popcorn bar in a spot where guests can easily grab refills without missing any of the movie! Finally, don't forget the napkins for buttery or sticky fingers. Enjoy!
