I love planning buffet style meals for family get togethers and parties. There are so many easy make ahead options so that you're not stuck cooking the whole time.
Making individual desserts is perfect for a party or buffet because you don't have to worry about slicing or serving - it's all done! We'll show you how to make cake in a jar using mini mason jars.
⭐ Tips
Generously spray the inside of your mini mason jars with cooking spray to help keep the cake from sticking.
Only fill each mini jar half way so that the cake has a place to go as it rises. Otherwise, you will have a big mess on your hands!
Place all the cookie jars onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. This makes them easier to move to and from the oven, and also will help catch any messes that might happen.
