My kids love Magformers - magnetic toys that fuel their imagination. Today I am reviewing the Magformers Walking Robot 45Pc Set.

You may recall that have reviewed Magformer products before. My kids love building new forts, castles, spaceships, and other structures with these fun magnetic toys.
I love that they are using their imaginations. We've amassed quite a collection over the last two years. They continue to be one of the most played with sets of toys in our home.
Ethan is into Star Wars and builds elaborate ships for the rebels, while Olivia constructs playgrounds for her My Little Pony figures. They are, without a doubt, a must-have for any playroom.

Magformer Walking Robot
Recently, I noticed Magformers had come out with a new product, the Walking Robot 45Pc Set. I knew my kids would flip when they saw this cool robot, and indeed I was right. More on that in just a moment, first, let me tell you a bit more about the set:
- Kids will love following along with the step-by-step idea booklet to discover the possibilities of the Walking Robot Set.
- Magformers Robot Building Toy Kit with Model Booklet.
- Compatible with all MAGFORMERS shapes and accessories including the "Magformers Rainbow 30 Piece Set" and others.
- Made with high quality and super powerful magnets.
- The Magformers robot can be transformed into 8 different robot modes which include a multitude of comical and functional movements.
⭐Review
Pretty cool, huh? The disappointing part is that the robot doesn't walk on the carpet, only hard floors. And when he does walk, it is slow. The kids have enjoyed creating different configurations of the robot, but the novelty wears off when the robot doesn't really go anywhere.
In all honesty, given the cost of this set, I would pass. We have the Magformers XL Cruisers Car 30 Piece Set and, in my opinion, I'd rather purchase another of those and an additional Magformers Classic 30 Piece Set to give my kids more pieces to work with... the cost would be the same as the hefty price tag on this robot set.
My kids really just love coming up with their own ideas from the simple pieces in the classic sets. The bottom line here for my family is that I would rather invest in more pieces, than this particular set.
