Alison at NOVA Frugal Family says
I just need to go buy some buttermilk powder. We had a few packets of the store bought stuff from other people bringing it to our house and in order to clear out the pantry I used them to flavor the oyster crackers for my husband and he loved them!! I think that he is a little bummed that we don't have any more. I also have this white cheddar powder so I might try the seasonings with that if I don't get the buttermilk soon. Thanks for the tip!!

Where do you buy dry buttermilk besides online? I have never seen it before. Can you use it for other baking recipes? I see recipes for buttermilk but I don't buy it and this would come in handy. Thanks

You can also purchase it at Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. You can mix it with water and use it in all kinds of recipes, like my grandmother's Chocolate Zucchini Cake recipe.
