Green Smoothie Bowl with Berries & Pears is the perfect way to get lots of great nutrition without sacrificing great taste.

Berry Green Smoothie Bowl with Pears, Strawberries and Blueberries

Just like a pile of green vegetables or a green smoothie, green smoothie bowls can be a little intimidating to some people.  Adding some other fresh delicious ingredients really helps to give this smoothie bowl a great flavor. The sweetness from the pears, strawberries and blueberries, and creaminess from the banana and yogurt really come through. If you're looking for a breakfast that's clean eating at it's best, and heart healthy to boot, this is it.

Maybe you're new to smoothie bowls, and if that's the case, than you'll want to check out our Learn How to Make a Smoothie Bowl in Just Six Simple Steps post!

This Green Smoothie Bowl with Berries & Pears is packed with so much nutrition!  Between the kale, pears, banana, strawberries and blueberries there are so many great healthy benefits. In just this one little bowl, you've got yourself about 3-½ servings a fruit, and 1 serving of vegetables!  That's a whole lot of goodness!  We're talking loads of vitamins B2, B6, C, and E. plus potassium and fiber.  Plus there's the calcium from the yogurt.

I'm thrilled to be sharing this Green Smoothie Bowl with Berries & Pears recipe over at Kids Activities Blog, where I also recently shared my recipe for a Banana Blueberry Almond Smoothie Bowl. This one might not be quite as kid-friendly as that one, but it's the perfect healthy breakfast for mom. I'm even sharing an on-the-go option for this recipe (which you can apply to any of my smoothie bowl recipes).

    • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
    • 1 large banana
    • 1 cup strawberries, hulled
    • 2 cups kale
    • ½ a large pear, peeled
    • 1 tablespoon almond milk
    • Toppings: blueberries, chopped strawberries, ½ pear, sliced
    1. Combine the yogurt, banana, strawberries, kale, pear and almond milk in a blender and process until smooth.
    2. Pour the mixture into a bowl and top with pear slices, fresh blueberries and chopped strawberries.
    3. Serve immediately.
Try this Berry Green Smoothie Bowl, topped with pears, strawberries and blueberries. You'll be surprised how good it is, and it's really good for you, too!

I love having Kale or Spinach in my smoothies! When you add in the other ingredients you can't even tell it's there and you're still getting all that great nutrition! Great idea!

As much as I love apples in the fall, the pear is a special treat and I relish it on its own or in a green smoothie!
