It's no secret that I can barely sew a button, but I really wish I could. My pal Sam from over at DIY Huntress has a great "no-sew" tutorial to share today for sprucing up your throw pillows.
DIY Huntress is a "do it yourself" blog that aims to inspire the everyday you to get out there and create one-of-a-kind pieces no matter how advanced or new you are to crafting! If you're looking for new ways to create, organize, and think out of the box, make sure you check out diyhuntress.com for some inspiration! Let's face it, not everyone is a great sewer (I know I certainly am not!)! So, I decided to share an an easy no-sew pillow update for your living room or bedroom! It's super simple and costs less than $10 a pillow! Easy and inexpensive!
What You'll Need:
Zippable Pillow Case (I purchased mine from Ikea for $7)
Stuffing (I recycled the stuffing from some old throw pillows for this project)
The Steps:
1. Stuff your pillow case.
2. Zip it up!
How simple is that!?
If you have a pillow that is the same size as your pillow cover, you can even just simply cover up your old pillow using the zippable cover!
Fun Tips:
By recycling old throw pillows that just aren't cutting it anymore, you save yourself money on new stuffing and get to go green with your new pillow!
Zippable pillow cases come in every size, shape, color, and design, so you can choose one based on your style! I have a few of them all in every room!
