🍲 Storage
To Store: Crock pot angel chicken leftovers should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. (These are my favorite airtight containers.)
To Reheat: Microwave individual portions in 30 second intervals until heated throughout.
Because cream sauces don't freeze well, I don't suggest freezing this meal.
📖 Variations
The first time you try any new recipe we recommend that you make it just as it is written on the recipe card since that is how the recipe has been tested. However, the next time you make our recipe, you might want to try one of these ideas:
- I prefer to use chicken stock for this angel chicken recipe, but you can use vegetable broth, or white wine if you prefer.
- You can add frozen veggies like carrots, corn, green beans, spinach, broccoli, peas, or lima beans into the cream sauce.
- I make my own cream soup substitute when I have the time, but you can use cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom soup.
- I love using boneless skinless chicken breasts, but you can also use chicken thighs or chicken tenders also.
- If you love cheese like me, add a sprinkle of parmesan cheese or shredded mozzarella.

🍴 Serving Suggestions
I love serving this over angel hair pasta but it's amazing with any kind of pasta, or even brown rice, cheddar mashed potatoes, or parmesan risotto. I love serving semi-homemade Italian breadsticks with this meal, too.
