What a week! I have some things I wanted to share with you and I know not every subscribes to my emails (although you can here if you want). I really want to get to know you, my readers, better and it's only fair you get to know me a little bit better, too!
I really hope you will leave me a comment or email me and let me know if we have something in common, you enjoyed something I posted here, or just say hi!
1. Things I'm Loving, Wanting, and Excited to Try
Cooking...
I've been making these raspberrry muffins - stay tuned for an update on this recipe soon.

During the Fall and all through the winter you can find homemade cookie dough in my fridge. Right now, I have a container of toffee chocolate chip cookies just waiting to be baked. It's awesome because I can bake off just a few as a treat. Everyone knows fresh baked cookies are the best anyhow, right?

If you have a child that's neurodivergent in your life, you'll want to check out @the_com_collab on Instagram. Mr. Juggling Act and I are learning so much from her about how to advocate for our autistic son! ❤️
I'm loving this awesome graphic from Postitively Present that Dani DiPirro made. I'm a little bit obsessed with her journal and coloring book coming out later this week.

What's in my cart...
This fun family game is on sale so I'm picking it up now and holding on to it until Christmas. Shhh... don't tell my family!
Listening to...
I just started listening to the podcast Momentum with Alex Charfen. This episode is about selfcare and meditation. Kind of digging this message!
Do you have a podcast you love?
Daydreaming of...
I have been daydreaming about visiting the Fjords of Norway, kayaking in Lofoten under the midnight sun, riding The Arctic Train, and seeing the Northern Lights.
I'm absolutely fascinated by the Northern Lights and can't wait to see them in person someday.
Have you ever been to Norway?

I'm also daydreaming about our vacation in the Western mountains in Maine this past July... Flagstaff Lake might be one of the most beautiful places I've ever kayaked!

Craving...
It's cold and wet here in New Hampshire and I'm craving throw blankets and comfy meals like this Crockpot Chicken and Gravy from my friend Deb at Bowl Me Over.
Watching...
Mr. Juggling Act, his mom (who lives with us), and I are working our way through the Alone series on the History Channel. There's something so primal about it, and it really puts things into perspective!
Have you seen Guy Fieri's new show on Food Network? It's called Guy's Ultimate Game Night and I'm not sure what to think about it. It is kind of a trainwreck... in a good way? It's pretty funny, but I don't think it's going to become one of our new favorites.
Considering...
Have you tried these pumpkin spice crackers?? I'm curious if they're yummy or just weird!
My birthday is next month so I may have added a couple of things to my wish list...
- the new Pioneer Woman cookbook - I have all her books 😊
- a paint by number (love these for just chilling out but still feeling creative
- hanging planters - I have some baby spider plants that need a new home
Obsessed with...
Check out this hilarious video from The Dashleys. I need my husband to respond this way always from now until eternity. ❤️
Also, I am identifing with Haley Morris' video montage here: "The struggle with hair is so real."
Reading...
My book club is still reading this awesome book by Jen Sincero, but I am also reading Do You Know Me by Libby Scott and Rebecca Westcott. It's the second in a series about an autisic girl named Tally. I really can't put it down! If you have someone in your life that is on the spectrum, I highly recomend these books. (Here is the first one.)

7. Around the Mountains...
Here's what we've been up to this week.
The kids are back in school. I just can't believe Ethan is in high school now! Olivia is in 6th grade now - middle school! Both the kids are still horseback riding - one of their favorite activities.
He's doing amazing getting into the new groove. He's got a couple of classes he really likes and interested in a few of the clubs.
Liv is playing soccer again with a bunch of her friends and they won their first game on Thursday. She's at a horse show today as header groomer in preparation for her first IEA show next month.
Mr. Juggling Act and I have been splitting (him) and stacking (me) wood, dividing daylillies, and enjoyed a scenic mountain drive last weekend. We didn't do The Kanc route, but it was beautiful.
Today is my parent's wedding anniversary. These two have been through thick and thin and are just as loving as ever.
Although we can't all hang out together, I'm sending great big hugs to them and wishing them a very happy 45th wedding anniversary!
And since tomorrow is Grandparent's Day, we'll wish them a happy day for that, too!

I have always been a little bit fascinated by the British royal family.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that thought Queen Elizabeth might just live forever! It's hard to imagine a world without her in it.
What do you think about the passing of Queen Elizabeth and British royal family?
