I have always been fascinated by my family history and over the years have worked on our ancestry quite a bit. I have connected with distant relatives and on my father's side we can trace our ancestors back to the 1500s in England! While I know it is incredible to go back so many generations, I still had to wonder what about my heritage. Is there Native American blood in our line? Were my mother's Lithuanian grandparents ancestor's from Poland, Germany or perhaps from across the Baltic Sea in Norway?

When DNA tests became more mainstream, I began to get even more curious. I mean, I know I get my green eyes from my Dad and my dimples from my mom, but who am I? What am I? My sisters and I share so many characteristics with one another and with our parents.

For Christmas, Mr. Juggling Act got me a 23andMe DNA kit and I was over the moon excited to learn more about myself in this new and exciting way. 23andMe is one of the top 1- DNA Test Kits available (source).
