Anxious? Download this free printable - a wonderful reminder than "Nothing diminishes anxiety faster than action" - Walter Anderson
Confession: I am an anxious person.
I was first diagnosed with postpartum depression after the birth of my son, though I feel that lifelong anxiety might have been a better diagnosis. I still struggle daily with anxiety and am forever reminding myself to not 'borrow worry.'
For the most part, I've learned to cope with my anxiousness. Sometimes it means taking a step back and asking for help, sometimes it means finding another solution... almost always, it requires action. I guess that's why this quote from Walter Anderson resonates with me. He was was an American painter, writer, and naturalist. I'd like to think he might like this pretty print that contributor Mandee from Designs by Miss Mandee made for me.
I've printed it and it hangs in my office. When I'm feeling anxious about something, I try to find a way to get rid of the problem, instead of worrying. And when that doesn't work, I find something else to busy myself with - laundry or some other mundane task.
Are you an anxious person, too? I'd love to hear how you cope with anxiety. Leave me a comment below, and enjoy this lovely print.
