1 cup powdered sugar
5-6 tablespoons of water
Add the vanilla extract and gently again the mixture. Now at the powdered strawberry gelatin mix and stir for another minute or so more.
Remove the pot from the heat and continue to stir – the marshmallows won’t be completely melted, but that’s ok, just keep stiring until you have a nice smooth mixture.
Once the marshmallows are melted and smooth, add the Rice Krispies and gently fold them in until they’re all covered with the strawberry marshmallow mix.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Use a piece of parchment paper to press it down into the pan, and avoid getting your hands all sticky – this is a trick I learned from my Mumma, and it works like a charm!
Store leftovers in a plastic bag or airtight container for up to a week.
